Every Sunday afternoon starting at 3.15 p.m and ending at 4.15 p.m, a class is held by devotees based on Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam book. Hearing of the holy name of the Lord (śravaṇam) is the beginning of devotional service. Hearing from the text of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is considered the most important process of hearing. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is full of transcendental chanting of the holy name, and therefore the chanting and hearing of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam are transcendentally full of mellows.
From beginning to end, the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is full of narrations that encourage renunciation of material life, as well as nectarean accounts of Lord Hari’s transcendental pastimes. The goal of this literature is exclusive devotional service unto Lord Krishna.
Please come join us for an enlivening session on Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam every Sunday. Hare Krishna
