Srila Prabhupada was born on Nandotsav (the day celebrating Lord Krishna’s birth) on the day following Sri Krishna Janmashtami. To mark the auspicious appearance day of Srila Prabhupada (Founder-Acarya of ISKCON), celebrations go on as follows at Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, Bon Accueil:

• At 11 a.m, the program starts with Kirtan in main Pandal
• Srila Prabhupada deity is brought to the main Pandal amidst ecstatic Kirtan by devotees
• Vyas puja offerings are made to Srila Prabhupada as from 12.30 p.m to 2 p.m
• Abhishek is offered to Srila Prabhupada at around 2.15 p.m
• Pushpanjali is offered to Srila Prabhupada at around 3 p.m
• Guru Puja follows
• Prasad is then served to everyone at around 4 p.m
